Whew!
I managed to reconstruct the scenes that I lost yesterday from the VS9 project and complete the next one--woohoo!! And I even managed to remember to click the "yes" button when prompted to save changes--go me!! LOL!

Before I wander off to bed, a few thoughts on both Stargates from last night:
SG-1: Eh. It was okay, but I'm still having a very difficult time getting excited about the show. (HUGE exception: Jack's return next week--squeeeeee!!!) And that really does make me sad. Now I didn't hate the episode by any means. I did like that there seemed to be some consequences for us taking alien tech and using it for our own. It seems like it's been awhile since that happened. Since Tangent, maybe? I think my biggest problem with SG-1 is that I really don't care for the Ori--they're BORING. Even though they weren't behind the attacks, the SGC still seemed to spend far too much time trying to figure out if they were or not. It's like they're in every single freakin' episode, whether they're actually a factor or not. It's just too much--waaaaay too much. I'd have so rather seen Teal'c, Sam, and Vala up at Jack's cabin with Landry and Mitchell for the biggest part of the episode. That last scene with them all playing poker was, for me, the best part of the entire hour.
SGA: I am still SO loving this season! While Progeny wasn't quite quite on par with last week's Sateda, it was still a damn fine hour of viewing.
--This episode pretty much reinforced my opinon that the Ancients were rather arrogant and certainly careless about a great deal of the technology/experiments that they left behind. I mean, yeah, they left some pretty cool stuff for us to use, but still, one has to wonder if the good is going to outweigh the bad in the long run.
--Loved, loved, loved the snark between Shep and McKay! And that little smack upside the head from Rodney to John. ::grins::
--Some not-so-good: I had really thought I'd started to warm up to Elizabeth a little, but after Progeny I'm feeling like, eh, maybe not so much after all. I personally think that she is just a little too much in awe of the Ancients for her (and Atlantis') own good. Seriously, would she have been that open with them if she hadn't thought the Replicators were Ancients? I dont' know, I just think she should have been a little more sceptical after everything they've seen over the past couple of years.
Okay, enough rambling for now. It's waaaay past bedtime!
