A Quick Report

...and then I'm off to bed. The two granddaughters were here all day, but played well together and allowed me to get some writing done. Here are the stats:

Title: The Eventuality of Aftereffects (a tag for The Storm/The Eye)
Words Written: 716 on 2/25 (2818 total words so far)
Progress: finished one scene and started on another.

--and

Title: Cutting the Gordian Knot
Words Written: 302 on 2/25 (6684 total so far)
Progress: Writing wise, I managed only part of the scene I began previously. I did, however, manage to edit a good portion of what I'd previously written, so all in all, I did accomplish a lot on this one, too.

And between the two fics, I did manage to write over a thousand words again--go me! LOL! It really feels good to be on somewhat of a roll again. :D

And now I'm off to collapse in bed. Those of you currently being hit with the nasty weather--stay safe and warm! :)

Yes, tag-fic-ness, LOL. The muse doesn't seem to give a rat's @ss that I have a deadline looming for the zine fic. *le sigh*

Laundry has been started so I'm playing between loads instead of cleaning. (Man, I really gotta work on that procrastination habit of mine.)

Hope the roads/parking lots don't get too bad there. We're supposed to hit near the fifty-degree mark here today. ;)

Meli! I've been thinking about you and wondering how things were going with the new resident in the house. Hope all is well! :)

As for the tag, well... *sigh* It was supposed to just be a short 2k word story. As you can see by the count above, I've busted that word limit but good. And it's not done yet either, thanks to Carson having to go and get all guilt-trippy and angsty on me. *sighs again* Hopefully will be done soon. I have to finish the zine fic first, though. :)

Thanks for the interest and hope you get to come back and play a little more often now. :D
