Notes: This was originally written for the One Hour of Hell challenge at sgahcchallenges. That challenge had a 4000 word limit and this, the original ending, was a bit too far over to fudge and I cut a lot to post there. So even if you've read that version, the ending posted here is a bit more detailed and contains additional characters.

Since I know she has a real soft spot for Brendan-as-a-child stories, I knew exactly what I should do. So even though I've significantly exceeded the word limit for a drabble, I hope you all enjoy it anyway. Summary: Brendan and Freya travel upstate to look for clues in the disappearance of a rich businessman. Only things don't quite go according to plan. Whumping ensues.
Notes: I was originally planning to write an SGA story for this challenge, but when I saw the second title in the list, it turned sideways on its head and started jumping up and down, screaming "BRENDAN!!!" at the top of its lungs in my ear. So really, how could I not do a Thoughtcrimes fic after that happened???

Spoilers/Warnings: Spoilers for The Return, Pt. 2 (season 3); much whumping of various characters--especially John. :D
Summary: When random systems on Atlantis begin shutting down for no apparent reason, Rodney and John are cut off from the rest of the city. Then John suffers an attack of unknown origin and collapses and it's up to Rodney to find out what's happening and why--before it's too late for both Sheppard and the city.
Notes: This is unashamedly and unabashedly a Sheplantis story (Sheppard and his gene interacting with the city). If you dislike stories where Atlantis appears almost sentient, then you'll probably want to give this one a pass. :)
