Mar. 26th, 2007 02:45 am::does the happy dance::
It's done it's done it's done it's done! Woohoooo!! The zine fic is finally finished and with one more pass, it will be ready to send off to the editor. Here are the final totals:
Fandom: SGA
Title: Cutting the Gordian Knot
Word Count: 16444 total words
Now I can turn my attention to finishing my tag for The Storm/The Eye, working on my assignment for
rononficathon, and writing a Thoughtcrimes ficlet for
karri_kln1671.
Of course, there's also an SGA plot bunny file on my hard drive with almost 50 different bunnies waiting for my attention. *giggles*
Have a great Monday, everyone! :)

...7 SG-1, 1 Silk Stalkings, 4 SGA, plus my NaNo novel. All of them sitting forlornly on my hard drive waiting for me to finish them.
And that's not counting the ever-growing, already bulging at the seams plot bunny file for SGA. Or the darn clown-ficlet bunny that bit my buns last night when reading a challenge on

Date: 2007-03-28 06:31 am (UTC)Thanks, my friend! *smooches*
Sadly, the one at a time really doesn't work for me. My problem is that my muse has the attention span of a gnat. *glares at her* So she gets really excited about something and we start it, but then this new thing comes along and she demands to move to that one, and so on and so on. And next thing you know, I've got a dozen unfinished fics sitting there making sad-puppy eyes at me every time I open Word. :(
I'm not certain if all zines work the same way. In my case, the editor had a short (like two paragraph) summary of the story I planned to write. I finally sent the completed story to her this afternoon and by this evening she sent it back with a request for a few changes/fixes (all sorely needed!). So I've officially been accepted--now I just have to get the edits finished and sent back by next week. And there really weren't that many; I really expected much more work would be needed on it. Alternate realities can be quite confusing! LOL!
I hope all is well with you and the crew--I've missed you, my friend! :D
