NaNo Update: Days 6 Thru 8

katstalesSo there has been much progress, but not much updating, lol.
Thursday (Day 6) I committed one of the cardinal sins of NaNo and did my laundry. (because as I am willing to recycle jeans and I have plenty of shirts to last, I refuse to go so far as to recycle undies and/or socks) I did get a bit of writing done though and ended the day at 17501.
Friday (Day 7) I managed another 2000 words and ended up at 19537. Only I watched Atlantis and Sanctuary and did not manage to post an update. *headdesk*
Saturday (Day 8) was the write-in at Riley's. Flavor of the day was snickerdoodle so I went with that and ordered a large, along with zucchini, artichoke, roasted red pepper, and sharp cheddar panini and settled in to write. Talked too much and had two more refills on the large coffee before it was time to head home again. *headdesk* Met R for dinner and came home to write some more. I ended the day at 22576--yay! :D

So yay--crossed the 20k barrier and am well on the way to meeting my personal goal of 25k by Sunday night. Hope y'all are all having a great weekend out there! :)
